About Chelsea
Chelsea believes in a client-focused approach, supported by her experience and legal expertise. She represents and advises clients on all issues related to divorce, custody and access, spousal and child support, division of property, domestic contracts, separation agreements, cross-border/international family law issues (including Hague Convention proceedings) and child protection proceedings.
Chelsea has successfully argued a variety of cases at all levels of court in Ontario and on wide-ranging legal issues. She also represents clients in complex negotiations, mediations and arbitration proceedings.
A native of British Columbia, Chelsea attended the University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree, with a major in Communications and a minor in English Literature.
While attending law school at the University of Western Ontario, Chelsea developed a keen interest in family law. She was awarded the CCH Canadian Limited Prize as the student with the highest standing in Advanced Family Law.
Chelsea is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Family Law Section of the Ontario Bar Association and The Advocates' Society. She was an editor of the Ontario Family Law Reporter for six years.
